Q: What is the difference metaphysically between Cintamani, Agni Mani, Moldavite, and Libyan Desert Glass?

A: That is an excellent question, and brings up some of the lore of these stones. I am still a novice, but have reflected some on what I have come to learn and experience. Tektites are generators of trans-formative energy. They have the ability to help us realize aspirations and dreams, destroy negative habits, and spark positive changes in our lives. They typically do not store information long term, but can benefit from cleansing ( I like to use Palo Santo wood).

Libyan desert glass has a radiant, calming energy. It helps us to connect and heal the stories of our ancestors and past lives. I feel it resonates deeply with the human story.  Some pieces are found that show evidence of ancient tool making.

Moldavite, agni mani, and cintamani seem to work synergystically. They help us to connect and heal the bridges between our origins and the stars. Below is a little bit more that I wrote about Moldavite, Saffordite, and Agnimanitite.

.....There are reference to a particular family of stones across many ancient texts, that are said to have celestial origins. Many of them appear to be an ordinary stone, but when used in meditation and with mantra- they unlock great potential within ourselves. In Chinese lore this family of stones symbolize the perfect balance between Dragon, phoenix, and pearl. In my opinion this metaphor is an excellent characterization of the three types of stones. The phoenix is Moldavite. It has a more cold, deep space feel. Moldavite tends towards an air/space element, embodying discovery, intellect, and the full effect of the crown and third-eye chakra. It rings with the angelic tone of wisdom.

Cintamani Saffordites are the pearl. They have an almost iridescence when held in the proper light. They glow with a white healing light. Cintamani is sanskrit for 'Wishing-gem or Thought- gem". They are said to help mainifest intentions, purge ills, and heal with purified light. They resonate in a balanced tone with root heart and crown chakras- aligning the body with celestial home. It rings with the angelic tone of abundance.

Agni Mani is sanskrit for Fire-gem. This is akin to the dragon. These stones have a fiery energy of both earth and sky. They reignite transformation, intuition, and inspiration. They are sparks to the creative flame, and harmonize for me with the sacrum and solar plexus chakras. They ring with the angelic tone of transformation.

This is what I have found in my work with all three of these stones. I feel the three harmonize all to work quite synergystically. They share commonalities, and yet make up the different pieces to the balance we see in the universe. I feel they are in a way a microcosm of our human journey, and the path to healing ourselves and the world.....
