This listing details a beautiful optical quartz from Santander Colombia. This amazing crystal was hand selected for quality. Elegant, often slender, growth habits and various ghostly phantoms characterize crystals from this location. The contrast of optical clear quartz with white feather/ needle like inclusions, and areas of wispy blue grey smoke make these crystals jaw dropping in person. The 'blue smoke' (also known as BN/blue needle) appears more vibrant when illuminated due to what is known as the Tyndall effect. This is where micro sphericals of gas are trapped within the crystal- upon illumination, the light is scattered along the sphere producing a light blue spectrum. This effect is also what creates the blue sky of earth. I illustrate this by showing the crystal open to light, then placing my hand behind makes the BN less visible.
The crystals from this location have an amazing cleansing and healing energy. This makes them ideal for reki/energetic work, crystal healing, and meditation. They have a beautiful prismatic/trickling water effect when reflected in sunlight. The stair-step formations and growth lines are like markers of time in the crystals formation. They each have their own interesting features and inclusions. I tried to capture any interesting details in the photos; however, keep in mind the clarity and high luster make the true beauty of these crystals difficult to capture.
This selection of crystals are natural, unpolished quartz so there maybe some minor damage/imperfections on a crystal; however these points are nearly flawless. Is shipping guaranteed to track?
Standard shipping is the most economical method- First Class Mail through the U.S. Postal Service. This does not come with guaranteed tracking to the destination. The package usually scans and updates within the U.S. however, international tracking is not available. It is the buyers responsibility to understand all shipping/customs policies in their country.

Are there estimated shipping times for First Class Package?
I ship through USPS First Class Mail in order to offer low cost shipping. Unfortunately, this service is highly variable on shipping times, and is inconsistent in tracking international. Typically packages can arrive anywhere from 10-30 business days or longer. Although First Class is my default shipping method I highly recommend upgraded shipping for express shipping times, guaranteed tracking, and insurance.
