This listing is for one Cintamani Saffordite stone directly from the Senora Desert in Arizona. There is one main group photo that details a selection of Saffordite Cintamani stones to choose from. Each stone is labeled with an item number (GL1-40) that corresponds to the drop down menu. You will receive the exact individual stone that you select. These stones are a nice size for holding in hand, display, mediation, or grid building. There is also a 1cm cube in the group photo for size reference.
This grouping details a lovely selection of highly translucent to banded stones which all pass light nicely for their size. These amazing stones appear black to smokey lavender/burgundy unless held to light. The color of each varies depending on light source, but most display a smokey burgundy to amber hue. The last photo details some examples of translucency with diffuse/indirect back lighting. Some show slight mineralization and lichen on their exteriors, and they have excellent texture patterns.
The origins of this beautiful natural glass are still being debated, thus it remains a currently unclassified natural glass. Some believe Saffordites to be tektite or impactite. Others theorize they are the most ancient remnants of terrestrial obsidian from lava flows or 'Grandfather Volcanoes'. The community all agree that it is some of the oldest natural glass remaining on the planet (estimated 35 million years old). We continue to research these amazing stones to learn more about their storied past. Regardless of their origin they are both beautiful, mysterious, and rare. They capture and play with light like no other stone, and truly have a unique energy of their own- beautiful, intriguing, and ancient.
The cube in the group photograph is 1cm for scale. None of our items are oiled, tumbled, or modified in any way. Natural stones may have small areas of weathering or small imperfections. Orders typically ship within 24 hours of payment being processed.

Is shipping guaranteed to track?
Standard shipping is the most economical method- First Class Mail through the U.S. Postal Service. This does not come with guaranteed tracking to the destination. The package usually scans and updates within the U.S. however, international tracking is not available. It is the buyers responsibility to understand all shipping/customs policies in their country.

Are there estimated shipping times for First Class Package?
I ship through USPS First Class Mail in order to offer low cost shipping. Unfortunately, this service is highly variable on shipping times, and is inconsistent in tracking international. Typically packages can arrive anywhere from 10-30 business days or longer. Although First Class is my default shipping method I highly recommend upgraded shipping for express shipping times, guaranteed tracking, and insurance.
