This listing details a one of a kind, free form faceted Saffordite Cintamani Stone directly from the Senora Desert in Arizona. This stone was hand cut and polished by Grant with the utmost attention and care. This process truly reveals the gorgeous color and translucency of these stones. The color of each varies depending on light source, but glistens a smokey lavender to golden amber. When light reflects off the mirrored plane of the stone it appears black, but is easily illuminated in low light through the polished surface. A beautiful, free formed facet to use as a palm stone during meditation, to put into jewelry, or add to any collection.
The origins of this Arizona Desert Glass are still being debated. Some view these as tektites. Others theorize they are the most ancient remnants of terrestrial obsidian from lava flows or 'Grandfather Volcanoes'. The community all agree however, that it is some of the oldest natural glass remaining on the planet (some estimate 35 million years old). Considered, unclassified natural glass, we continue to research these amazing stones to learn more about their storied past. Regardless of their origin they are both beautiful, mysterious, and rare. They capture and play with light like no other stone, and truly have a unique energy of their own- beautiful, intriguing, and ancient.

Is shipping guaranteed to track?
Standard shipping is the most economical method- First Class Mail through the U.S. Postal Service. This does not come with guaranteed tracking to the destination. The package usually scans and updates within the U.S. however, international tracking is not available. It is the buyers responsibility to understand all shipping/customs policies in their country.
We offer many shipping upgrades which include tracking and insurance upon request. Please contact us to customize shipping options (such as signature confirmation and added insurance) or select 'Tracking and Insurance' as an upgrade to Priority mail.

Are there estimated shipping times for First Class Package?
I ship through USPS First Class Mail in order to offer low cost shipping. Unfortunately, this service is highly variable on shipping times, and is inconsistent in tracking international. Typically packages can arrive anywhere from 10-30 business days or longer. Although First Class is my default shipping method I highly recommend upgraded shipping for express shipping times, guaranteed tracking, and insurance.
